Battle with the Space Dragon

The battlefield was a large field, with no real features besides the night sky above, at least until the enormous white dragon came into view, his mouth tendrils lashing out in all directions as he coiled up, waiting for his opponent to enter the field.

John happened to be laying there watching the night sky being interrupted by a sound getting up to see what it was seeing a huge ball "what is that?" John asked just looking at it.

The ball of light glowed brightly above, before sinking away, revealing the gigantic space dragon in his full mass. He senses only a single creature in the area, and so turned immediately to look down at John, mouth tendrils whipping about slower and more intently.
