The Deal with her: Quoted by Shikamaru's father to be the strongest and most beautiful of women, Tsunade is the 5th Hokage of the Village of the Leaf. The Godaime title was originally offered to Jiraiya, who turned it down and brought Naruto to hunt down Tsunade to take up the job. Before they found Tsunade, Orochimaru proposed a trade with Tsunade - to bring her little brother and boyfriend; both who died during the Ninja wars, back to life, if she would heal his arms so he could continue to destroy the Leaf. Tsunade was thus torn between seeing her loved ones again and protecting her village. She seemed to have chosen the former but fortunately for Konoha, Naruto reminded her of her dreams and her brother and boyfriend's dreams. So Tsunade beat the sh*t out of Orochimaru and returned to the Village with Naruto and Jiraiya to be the 5th Hokage.

Besides being the Hokage, Tsunade also has another nickname - The Legendary Sucker, for always losing in gambling. She is also vain as she uses a special technique to conceal her age so she could look young. Whether her titanic assets are part of the technique is still a mystery...(we remember Jiraiya calling her a flat chested b*tch when they were genins...)
